I’ve a confession to make…
For the last 3 weeks or so I could not be f..ked to do anything.
Moral… has hit rock bottom.
And I’m a miserable son of a b!itch right now.
I just cannot be bothered.
The WHY doesn’t matter too much right now (… although I’ll reveal it one day soon) but I’ve been knocked for 6.
And tonight — I’m writing my emails the day before, the day before — I got nothing to write about.
Nothing. Zilch. Nadda. Nout.
And your time, your time is important.
I don’t want to waste your time.
So I figured I’d get on ye olde desktop (remember them) to tell you and remind me that….
“If you’re waiting for motivation, you’re going to be waiting a long time”
Artists, authors… marketers, people like you…. can’t wait for inspiration to turn up to do the work.
You’ve got to… have to… must!
TURN UP and do the work.
Sometimes you’ll get a 7/10, most times it’ll be a 5 or a 6/10 and every now and then you’ll crack out an 11/10.
But if you waited for motivation; most days you’d just get a big phat 0, you’d get nothing.
So it’s over to you Bob, to turn up.
Like clockwork and do the work.
Day in, day out.
Even when you don’t want to.

P.S. And if that sounds like tripe to you, get in touch when inspiration comes your way and let me know how he is.
P.P.S. I used to write my emails and hit send, that exact same minute but recently I’ve been trying to get a day or two ahead. To take the pressure off. To give me a day if I really, really can’t find something to write about. I recommend trying it.
